TÂK
FARSI LEARNING APP
TÂK is a mobile language learning application designed for second-generation Iranians, helping them connect with their cultural roots through mastering the Farsi language. The app offers interactive lessons, pronunciation guides, and practice exercises tailored to various proficiency levels. Users can explore common phrases, conversational skills, and literary excerpts from Persian poetry and stories. By focusing on language as a gateway to heritage, TAK empowers users to strengthen their cultural identity, easing the sense of disconnection and fostering a deeper bond with their Iranian roots.
TAK (تاک) means grapevine in Farsi, a symbol of life, growth, and transformation in Persian culture. It also plays on the English word "talk," highlighting the app's focus on language learning and communication. This dual meaning reflects the app's goal: helping second-generation Iranians connect to their roots through Farsi while finding their voice.
Language is the first step in keeping your cultural identity alive. It's more than just words. It's how traditions, values, and memories are passed down. For second-generation individuals, learning their heritage language is a way to feel closer to their roots, connect with family, and find a sense of belonging in both cultures they call home.
